Teen to Face Children’s Court After Being Charged Over Explosion

Two teenagers have been left with severe burns after an accelerant was allegedly poured on an open fire, causing an explosion. The explosion took place during a house party in Melody Street, Toowoomba, in the early hours of August 25.

This week police have confirmed that the boy will be charged with 2 counts of grievous bodily harm. The 15 year old will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
