Cyber crime in Australia is now costing us $1 billion a year,but that figure has dropped dramatically from last years $1.65 billion.
On average the cost of cyber crime to individual victims is $201, last year the average cost was $306.
Holding computers hostage, blackmailing users, and stealing account details are common threats to users and their bank accounts. However privacy is also of increasing concern.
